I don't vote for politicians

I don’t vote for politicians. I might vote for referendums or particular laws that might get put in place, but the whole thing is that if you have a radical, militant mass labor movement that can shut down profits through direct action, you can make any politican do what you want them to do. Even without asking. He’ll start trying to capitulate to what you want. If you don’t have that, you could elect Che Guevara and he would have to capitulate to what the biggest movement is –which is capitalism. They’ll capitulate to the ruling class.
What’s the idea that people have when they’re voting? They’re voting because they want something different. Well, the way to make it different is to have a movement. There’s no way around that. Even if what you want is just small, incremental change, you’re only gonna get that with a movement.
